Walk with us, once upon a nightmare... 

This Halloween, the Hawkins Arms pub in Probus becomes a kingdom of villains, where happily ever afters go to die.

šŸŽ The Quiz — Sip your poison and test your wits with riddles darker than a spinning wheel’s curse. From cursed roses to glass slippers, only the clever will survive the Queen’s decree: “Off with their heads!”

šŸ”„ The Cabaret and Lip Syncs — Be drawn into performances that conjure up Maleficent’s fire, Ursula’s wicked laughter, and Cruella’s unhinged glamour. A revel of shadows and spectacle, where fairytales are twisted into something far more dangerous.

šŸŽ¤ The Karaoke — Take the stage and unleash your inner villain. Growl “Be Prepared” with Scar, croon “Friends on the Other Side” with Dr Facilier, or lose yourself to Frollo’s “Hellfire.” The darker your song, the louder the cheers.

šŸŽ The Raffle of Wonders — Treasures and trinkets await those bold enough to play. But beware: every prize comes at a price…

So, child… are you ready to step into the shadows? One night only. No fairy godmothers. No happy endings. Just villains, magic, and the thrill of the dark.

Join Transparent Presence CIC for an afternoon of inclusive workshops and pop up performances including our clothing exchange, coffee and chat for wellbeing, and creative workshops.


Then get your ticket on Eventbrite to stay for their popular LGBTQ+, neurodivergent inclusive live music event, Vocal Mix 4, where you'll get to see Vocal Presence, Hugo Wilde, Aria Spellbound, Benji James and Object entertaining you until close at 11pm.


Heart and Soul cafe will be open all day and evening to serve you food and soft and alcoholic drinks.


Parking available nearby at the Sports Centre and the venue is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets.


There will be no strobe lighting at this event and they will monitor sound levels for those with auditory sensitivities. Some ear defenders will be available to borrow.

    A party like there's no mañana, this Mexicana-inspired cabaret event was House of Damnation CIC's first large-scale event and... the world's first drag show inside of a cave, taking place at Carnglaze Caverns in St Neot, Liskeard.


    It featured some of the Cornwall's best drag artists, such as Drag by Object, Rhianna Rocket, Cleo Toris, and hosted by the queen of the damned herself, Evilyn Carnate. 


    This event also included live vocals from one of the best musicians in the region: Benji Matthews; as well as a medley from the Mirvallous Mirva Theatre's show, Bone To Pick.


    As a community interest company, House of Damnation events are only possible thanks to the matched-funding support of local organisations such as FEAST, "a programme to make great art happen across Cornwall."
